Hello again, I just wanted to tell you that only one thing really rules the world now.

POWER

You can ask me "what is the power?", and I'll answer you
According to wikipedia - "Power is the ability to influence people or events"

A lot of things can be routed under that line, but generally speaking nowadays it's coming to couple simple (not really) things that we're gonna talk about here. Let's see how fucked up we are.

make them yours (Propaganda)

Good old US narrative "we are the best country in the world" is a good example of the first one. Hopefully none of you need explanation why that's not true, yeah? But there is so much of it - majority of population just cannot believe how inaccurate that is: broken insurance system; billionaires that try to take over businesses just because "I can afford to buy your fucking soul"; fucking awful level of school education; and a lot more

Many people are trying to understand how such systems were (and are) possible to build and support, but generally speaking we can say "just throw money in, give people affordable housing and wait for couple of generations". Looks good, isn't it? What can possibly go wrong?

Acquire the capital (Money)

Moving from North America - welcome to United Arab Emirates, beautiful place of...oil? Yep, these guys just got a jackpot a couple decades ago. Let's go little bit into history, shall we?

Imagine you live in a desert (not like anything is around, but you get a point). Life goes on, nothing really happens, you just chill with you homies and occasionally travel on your camel across the country.

But one day - one of your mates discovers something strange - there is a black liquid in the ground sand, what is it? Well, you don't live in 15th century, so you understand that it is oil. You try to sell it to someone, but it doesn't really work because you have no capita to invest

That's a bummer, but one day a strange man shows - the man who works for "Standart Oil" company, and they're telling you "You can make A LOT money on this, just let me rule the business here!". Sounds like an awesome deal, yeah? Because it is! You start working with for that guy, and he is a man of his word - everything is according to the rules you set.

Fast forwarding couple of years

You dumped that guy because you made enough to make a whole lot of stuff by yourself (good job, really), what will you do next? Correct - DIG MORE OIL!

Awesome plan, to be honest, but there is a catch - it is a finite resource and you start to think "Hmm, what will happen when I'll eun out of it?". And the answer you get to - nothing good, so we need to diversify.

TL/DR: now UAE is one of the richest countries in the world, and does not depend on oil as it is only 3-5% of their economy (they're good investors).

So, you got a lot of money, no real enemies and vector what you want to accomplish next. At this stage - you basically won capitalism, but you can do a lot more. You can manipulate the markets, you can acquire new stuff, you can build new businesses, or even invest in the whole countries.

Be self-employed (Industrialization)

So, you got some money, let's talk business and self-employment (no country example here, just general flow).

There is some points you have to understand:

At this point you have to start building and industrial plants. Basically everything now requires industry, even creating a nail. So, good plan is to be the(!) fanboy of Henry Ford and do everything to build same empire as him.

Make everything cheap, treat people good, make everybody work for you, make humans fucking addicts to your products. What's the point, you may ask? Abandon them at some point. We are all fucking straight-walking monkeys, we're gonna pray for your return, and at that moment - you're gonna say "Ok, but here is a new deal, I don't care what you think of me and will treat you like the monkeys you are".

You see that? You just made them lower their standards, you just made them accept that you have something they want and will not have without you (or someone else like you, but you got the money, so just buy their ass), you just made them your slaves. And those slaves from now on will do if not anything, then close to anything to make you happy. Wanna create something that solves world hunger? Hell yeah! Want to create new type of communication? Hell yeah! Wanna create weapon of mass destruction? Not hell yeah, but okay.

You just made your own people to produce and consume anything you want, good job.

Protect Be able to Attack (Military)

For this part I wanted to go with Russia as an example, but their "performance" on Ukrainian territory showed us that they're just a bunch of corrupt morons with no other military power than size of their population. Fuck Putin. Glory to 🇺🇦!

So, going without country example again. You got the propaganda, money and industrial plants, how do you secure those assets? Based on the title of this chapter - spend a bit of that money on a military.

Now let's talk on what military really is and how it works.

Basically you're training a lot of people to fight, it's that simple, yes? Wrong. You're training a lot of people to fight for idea, and that "idea" can stand for one of two things:

That's the catch, you cannot just say "Fuck off and make my order a reality", you need to justify it to people. And here we have little twist - if you had good enough propaganda you could justify freaking anything! Oh boy, here we are again. Just make people happy for some period of time (or just don't be a jerk to workers) and then they're gonna believe every single piece of what you say, ironic, isn't it?

Okie, you got an army, you're ready to resist (lol), yes? Nope, you forgot to weaponize them, what are they gonna shoot from? You can ask other countries world leaders to help, but that works only until you're not crossing their road. So, let's just return to industrialization! You already have the ability to produce anything you want, so just hop on a quick Zoom call with a bunch of CEOs and your tanks will be ready in 2-5 business days! How awesome it is!

Going on, we got military and the weapons for them, what we'll need to do next? We'd have to make non-military people believe you, or,in this case, make them as quiet as dead.

Shut up the ones who don't comply (Censorship)

You got it right - we're gonna raise our voices and mute all of those we don't like!

You have the money, you have the propaganda, you have the power on this field, so:

  1. Get that machine working
  2. Create official/semi-official set of rules on how media can and can not work

#1 is pretty straightforward, we already discussed it, so lets move to #2.

Why am i dividing rules into official and semi-official? Well, because you just can not put "If I don't like you then you're not allowed to speak" in the law, people are not that stupid.

You have to silently watch them doing the thing and when they're crossing some borders - attack. How? Well, there're many options:
